Juan Cuardrado has revealed that he is set to stay with his current club Fiorentina, and that he is set for talks with the Serie A club over a new contract.
The Colombian winger had been in constant speculation during the summer transfer window, with Barcelona and Manchester United both interested in signing him.
After featuring in Colombia’s World Cup campaign in Brazil this summer, the 26-year-old says that he is happy in Florence and he believes that a contract extension could be finalised over the coming weeks.
“The summer market? I was calm about it. I feel good with my teammates,” he said.
“The contract renewal? I don’t like talking about this now. There is my agent for this.”
“There will be a meeting with the club and I think we will find an agreement.”
