Midfielder Jordan Henderson has described Liverpool’s dramatic 2-1 win over Ludogorets in the UEFA Champions’ League, and believes that the three points could turn out to be vital.
“We dominated the game though it didn’t go all our way and they counterattacked well at times. It was a great finish by Mario and at 1-0 we need to see the game out; unfortunately we didn’t do that. We were really disappointed but we kept going and Javi [Manquillo] did brilliantly for the goal to get in there in front of the keeper and get the penalty and it’s a good pen from Steve. I am sure that will prove to be a big three points,” the England international said.
