Italian side Milan have demanded Al Ahly to pay €1.5 million to play them in a friendly in October.
The board of Al Ahly have decided to celebrate becoming the most successful club in terms of international titles won surpassing Argentinians Boca Juniors and Milan after winning the 2014 CAF Super Cup in February this year.
Milan and Boca Juniors are among the teams that the Cairo-based club have sent requests to play them in friendly matches.
Milan have asked them to pay €1.5 million in order to be able to lure them to Egypt, but officials of Al Ahly think the appearance fee is huge and way out of their reach for now.
And the board of Al Ahly is hoping to convince sponsors to see if they can bear the expenses for the proposed friendly with the Italian giants.
