David De Gea Ready To Extend Manchester United Stay

According to reports, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is ready to shun potential signers Real Madrid and sign a bumper new deal with the Red Devils.

After initially struggling to adapt to life in the English Premier League, the 23-year-old has developed into one of the best goalkeepers in the division, and even made it to the 2012/13 PFA Team of the Season when they won the league in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in charge of United.

De Gea made his competitive debut for Spain this week, and ousting Iker Casillas as number one for the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier in Luxembourg, in where Vincent del Bosque’s men won by four goals to nil.

UEFA Champions’ League winners Real have been strongly linked with a move for the former Atletico Madrid man, but he is ready to cancel out those rumours and is ready to sign a £120,000 per week five-year-deal, and he will continue to do what he does best for the Old Trafford club when they travel to West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Monday evening.
