Crystal Palace are targeting Brescia defender Ahmed Benali, and could bring him to Selhurst Park when his contract at his current Italian club expires in June.
Inter have also been alerted by the former Manchester City youth product’s performances, and may offer the 22-year-old a chance to stay in Italy and move up into the Italian Serie A.
Monaco, Torino and Udinese are also monitoring the Libyan left-back, an international for his country, who has played for England at Under-17 level, and is currently enjoying a fine start to the season with his current Italian Serie A club, scoring four goals from his last six appearances.
He has previously admitted he would like to return to play in England, and is aware of the growing interest in his services.
“I am aware of the interest from some Serie A and English clubs in me,” he told Sky Sports.
“It is flattering of course, but I am just focusing on doing my best for Brescia and I will leave the interest from other clubs with my agent to deal with.”
