Reiging Italian Serie A champions Juventus are keeping an eye on Lille defender Simon Kjaer, according to reports.
The Old Lady are are looking at a number of quality players as they aim to recruit a centre-back in January, with the Denmark international the latest player on their wish list.
Despite Kjaer currently having a contract at les Douges which lasts until June 2017, Juve officials believe he would be available for mere €4 million.
The 25-year-old left Juve’s fellow Serie A side Palermo for Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga in the summer of 2010, before he returned to Italy with Roma the following summer with a season-long loan at the Italian capital outfit.
He then moved to Lille in the French Ligue, where he impressed and scored one goal in 44 league outings so far.
Having successfully kick-started his career in France, the Danish defender could be tempted by the prospect of returning to Italy, especially with the Bianconeri showing interest in his services.
