According to reports, Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has agreed to sign a new deal at his current club.
With his current contract due to expire at the end of the season, the Switzerland international was on the radar of quite a few top sides, but it appears he will be staying in Turin after all.
Reports suggest the 30-year-old will soon put the pen to the paper on a two-year contract worth around €3 million per campaign with an option for a further year.
The Bianconeri were desperate to keep hold of their prize asset and in turn met his demands despite initially being reluctant to do so.
Lichtsteiner has proved to be a great signing for the Old Lady, having made 150 Italian Serie A appearances since joining from Lazio, netting 10 times.
