Manchester City midfielder Bruno Zucilini is currently on loan at Valencia, but has not had much of a look-in, and the Argentina Under-20 international’s parent club are unhappy with the lack of match action.
The Etihad Stadium outfit have given Zuculini an option of a change of club to the Mestalla’s fellow Spanish La Liga side Getafe, who are targeting a January loan for the 21-year-old.
After joining City for £2.2 million from Racing Club last summer, before where he played during the club’s pre-season US tour and in the English Community Shield against Arsenal, Zuculini was subsequently loaned out to Valencia to gain more experience in the European game.
City now want Zuculini to get more action than he currently is at the Mestalla and are open to a loan switch to Getafe, who want to bolster their squad after selling former Valencia midfielder Michel to Guangzhou Evergrande and see City’s defensive midfield prospect as an ideal replacement.
They do want a loan with an option to buy next season, although City may not be willing to sell depending on his progress.
