Arsenal fans remain defiant

Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat at White Hart Lane to rivals Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s North London derby in the English Premier League.

Now Arsenal fans have played down the defeat on social networking site Twitter.

The Gunners took an 11-minute lead through Mesut Ozil, but Spurs launched a stirring comeback, with England Under-21 international scoring twice in the second half for Spurs.

The win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side has lifted them above Arsene Wenger’s Emirates outfit in the league table and has enhanced their chances of a top-four finish.

The Arsenal fans, however, have remained defiant and seem confident that they will recover from the loss to their fierce local rivals.

Arsenal have finished above Spurs in the league table for the past 18 seasons, and the club’s supporters seem confident of maintaining that run, as they took to Twitter after the defeat to insists that they believe in the team.
