Perth in Taggart transfer talks

Perth Glory have reportedly opened discussions with Fulham striker Adam Taggart in a bid to convince the 21-year-old to return to his former Australian A-League club next season.

Perth manager Kenny Lowe has travelled to England as part of an off-season recruiting trip, and looks to lure Taggart back to Perth to create a strikeforce partnership with Ireland international Andy Keogh.

Taggart has not made a first-team appearance for the Cottagers since signing on a three-year-contract in June last year due to injuries, and is open to a move back to Australia.

The Australia international has proven his worth in the Australian top tier, having won the Golden Boot award after netting 16 times in 25 appearances for Newcastle Jets in the 2013/14 season.
