Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in making a move for Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mark Davies this summer.
Davies has been hampered with a number of serious injuries during his time with the Trotters, but is an exciting midfielder once fully fit.
Eagles manager Alan Pardew has tracked Davies thoughout his career at the Macron Stadium and was also linked with a swoop for the player when he was in charge of Newcastle United.
Reports now suggest that Pardew is lining up a move to bring the 27-year-old to Selhurst Park in the upcoming transfer window, and Bolton could be willing to sell their injury-prone star if the price is right.
A serious knee injury kept Davies sidelined for much of last season but that has not deterred Palace, who are said to be willing to pay a fee in the region of £1.5 million.
The cash would be useful for Bolton boss Neil Lennon with money currently being tight at the club as he looks to improve his squad for a promotion push from the English Championship to the English Premier League next term.
