Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere said he is always looking to learn from teammates Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
The Gunners enjoyed a 4-0 English FA Cup Final triumph over Aston Villa to earn back-to-back wins in the competition at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Germany international midfielder Ozil was voted the man of the match by the club’s fans, although Wilshere was criticised for the manner of his celebrations the following day.
Ozil has been frequently criticised during his two-year stay in North London, but his probing performance was recognised by the Emirates Stadium supporters, while Sanchez fired home a stunning second goal during the Final against Villa.
And Wilshere says he looks up to the duo, telling the club’s official website: “We’ve got players who can hurt teams with Alexis and Ozil, world-class players we’ve added in the last two seasons.
“Ozil has had a great season, he’s settled, and Alexis having a first season like he’s had is unheard of, so we are looking forward to next season.
“Mesut’s a player I look up to. When he’s on the pitch, surrounded by players and under pressure, he’s always got his head up and looking around. There’s more to come from Mesut and I’m sure he’ll improve [even more] next season.”
