Newcastle, Villa and West Brom target Chester

Newcastle United, Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are reportedly targeting a move for Hull City defender James Chester this summer.

The 26-year-old suffered relegation from the English Premier League to the English Championship with the Tigers, and after impressing in the top flight, has become a target for three teams who have kept their Premier Legaue status.

The Magpies, Villains and Baggies are all keen to improve their defence for next season and feel the former Manchester United man will add depth in that position.

£4 million Chester will also be keen to stay in England’s elite division with a potential trip to UEFA EURO 2016 with Wales at stake over the upcoming 12 months.
