Leicester City defender Christian Fuchs believes his side can bounce back from a bumpy start to their English Premier League title defence.
A 2-1 league defeat at Sunderland on Saturday marked the Foxes’ sixth away defeat of the season, taking only one point from seven away league games, though that run has included tough trips to Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
Fuchs knows the will have to improve significantly to prosper once again, and is confident they can do so, with his side’s next league game coming in the form of Manchester City at the King Power Stadium next Saturday.
“I believe that we have a lot of quality in our squad still and with a couple of wins, with a couple of points – which are crucial, obviously – we will fight our way back up,” the 30-year-old Austrian told Foxes Player.
“I think the team is motivated enough to get those points. We have a great challenge against Manchester City at home and nobody is betting on us anyway, so we will try to get the three points there.”
